This week, we tasted multiple delights from Iran! There was an aubergine tart called ‘kuku’, a herbed fava bean ‘polow’ (pilaf), a tomato, cucumber and onion salad, walnut baklava or ‘khataii’, almond biscuits, ‘gorabieh’, and tea made in a French press to prevent the leaves from getting into the cup.
