Rubicon Court

Won through an invited competition, the commission covered all stages from concept to delivery. The mixed-tenure block of 117 flats was the first completed residential building on the King’s Cross regeneration site and takes its place as part of the exciting urban landscape emerging in the area. The design uses cluster typologies to simplify circulation, maximise frontage and views and enable access to a range of private and shared amenity spaces for all flats. A limited palette of carefully selected materials and well-resolved details ensured that the intended design quality was achieved. The building sets new standards for affordable urban living in London.

Design and delivery led by Newground directors while employed at PRP.
