The infill site consists of two adjoining areas each served by an independent access way and separated by a slight change of level along a fence lined with mature trees to one side, with garages taking up most of the remaining area.
The proposals unify the two parts of the site, taking down the fence, adjusting the levels and demolishing the garages. The development comprises six two-storey homes in two groups; four 3-bedroom and two 2-bedroom houses.
All units are provided with cycle stores and unallocated surface parking to meet Thurrock Council requirements.
Significant public realm and landscape improvements are proposed with a central green space providing amenity for all ages.
