An additional floor to create two penthouses forms part of the proposal, which includes the refurbishment of the 1970s flat block, a new ground-floor flat to replace a large refuse store as well as two new mews houses on the grounds of the existing building.

Overlooking and rights of light were key considerations and necessitated basement and semi-basement floors in the mews houses, which use the sloping topography to minimise the apparent volume. The houses are located on opposite sides of the site and accessed from streets at the front and back.
